I am

a volcanic isle
quiet,
civilised,
smouldering,

a whale, gentle, sensitive,
singing and calling,

a shark that has scented flesh
shark shot
like an arrow

a shark lusting
a whale crying
an isle erupting
in an ocean of indifference.
